To walk with God
I’ve realized over the last few years that to truly walk with the Lord we must be willing to do what He says whether it makes sense to our natural human minds or not. And we’d have to be dead to self. That’s the only way that God can really use us. We can’t be full of ourselves and full of God. It’s either one or the other.
Walking with God can sometimes leave one feeling isolated, especially when people don’t understand the vision or mandate that we’ve been given, but the Lord always comes through; truth always prevails. Noah must have faced so much ridicule in his time having to tell his friends that the Lord had asked him to build an ark, but the Bible records that Noah did “everything” that God had commanded him, and we all know what happened after that. Only those who were in the ark with Noah survived the flood that came upon the earth. You may have been ridiculed even rejected for what you know that the Lord has called you to do, don’t despair. Just be careful to do “everything” that God has commanded you, and at the appointed time, just like Noah, the vision will speak for itself.
“For the vision is yet for an appointed time but at the end, it shall speak, and not lie; though it tarries, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.” Habakkuk 2 verse 3.
And to all dads out there, I’d just like to say, “Happy Fathers’ Day!”
